Leblon apartment
Leblon apartment
2025ResidencialOriginally inhabited by a family, the Leblon apartment underwent a complete transformation to meet the needs of the new owner. The project's main objective was to integrate and expand the social areas, including the master suite, which can now be connected to the living room via a folding door.
One of the most significant interventions was the demolition of the old spiral staircase that dominated the center of the floor plan. In its place, a new staircase was carefully repositioned to one of the corners, optimizing the distribution of the spaces. With stone flooring and a curved flowerbed at the upper access, the new staircase is surrounded by an internal garden, bringing freshness and lightness to the apartment's interior.
While the ground floor houses the more conventional areas, the upper floor is entirely dedicated to leisure and socializing. A swimming pool, sauna, shower, barbecue, gardens, and an office at the back make up this space, which highlights the property's greatest asset: the stunning view of Leblon beach.
In choosing materials, the project prioritizes light-toned elements, such as the Itaúnas stone plank flooring and the washed Freijó wood paneling. One of the highlights is the wooden panel that surrounds the sauna area, developed exclusively for the project. Its slats, arranged to create movement, are also repeated inside the sauna, reinforcing visual unity. Another unique element is the sideboard in the dining room on the lower floor, made of two contrasting woods and with an integrated bar.
